Denise M. Casey, Ph.D. Spring 2008 Courses: Office Hours: Tues/Thurs: 3:30 - 4:00 p.m.; 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Denise Casey has recently come to USD from Gonzaga University. She earned her doctorate in Communication at the University of Miami (2004) and has received several recent awards, including the Distinguished Faculty and Honorary Member of the Iota Rho Communication Honor Society (Spring, 2005). As a communication generalist, her research areas include but are not limited to computer-mediated communication, online learning and interpersonal communication satisfaction, enrollment management and online learning, and third person effect. Dr. Casey teaches a variety of courses in both applied communication (e.g., communication training and consulting, public relations, sales, and interviewing) and media (e.g., journalism, computer-mediated communication, and freedom of expression). |
