A Warm Welcome to USD’s Class of 2017!
As you may know, alcohol is a significant issue in the lives of college students. Whether you abstain from alcohol entirely or not, it is an influence in our lives and in our society.
As part of the University of San Diego's commitment to the well-being of our individual students and the larger USD community, all first-year students are required to complete the online MyStudentBody “Essentials Course”, an alcohol, other drug & sexual violence prevention course. This course is a thoughtful, interactive program committed to helping young adults critically consider important decisions and how to cope with drinking behaviors of peers.
For important information regarding deadlines, non-compliance fees, and detailed log-in and access instructions regarding Part 1, please check back in Mid-July!
For more information regarding Part 2, the 60-day follow-up portion of the MyStudentBody “Essentials Course”, please check back in Mid-July!
A $250 non-compliance fee will be assessed to students who do not fully complete both portions of the course within the deadlines. This is a non-negotiable non-compliance fee that will be assessed to your student account. Be sure to complete both sections of the "Essentials" course to avoid this non-compliance fee and learn about how alcohol and other drug use and abuse can impact our community.
