Welcome, Class of 2012!

Part 2 of AlcoholEdu for College is due October 20, 2008!

Welcome to the University of San Diego

As you well know, alcohol is a significant issue in the lives of students.  Whether you abstain from alcohol entirely or not, it is an influence in our lives and in our society.  As part of the University of San Diego's commitment to the well-being of our individual students and the larger USD community, all first-year USD students are required to complete AlcoholEdu for College - an online, alcohol prevention program.  This program is a thoughtful, interactive program committed to helping young adults critically consider important decisions and how to cope with drinking behaviors of peers.

What is AlcoholEdu for College?

AlcoholEdu for College offers a confidential, personalized experience for each student. The course includes:

  • 5 modules of alcohol-related content
  • Personalized feedback
  • Interactive exercises
  • Access to a student social networking site

Be on the Lookout!

You should have received a welcome letter from the Vice President of Student Affairs and an instruction sheet in the mail that will provide more details about this program, including how to access the course and deadline dates for completing it.
