Undergraduate chemistry students are the main users of the department’s three instrument rooms which contain over $1.3 million in new equipment acquired since 2002. Students begin to use the instruments in lower division classes, and become highly proficient in upper division labs and research projects where further training and extensive instrument time is available to each student.
