Research Associate II

Job Description
Synthesize, purify and characterize peptides and peptidomimetics.
Conduct physicochemical studies of peptides.
Be actively involved in SAR analysis and the design and synthesis of follow-up molecules.
Assist in maintaining laboratory instruments and inventory of chemicals and reagents.
Keep abreast of current literature in relevant programs.
Education
BS/MS degree in Organic Chemistry or closely related scientific field.
Experience
3-5 years of research experience in peptide or medicinal chemistry.
Demonstrable expertise in modern analytical and separation techniques (TLC, HPLC, NMR, LC-MS, etc.).
Experience with automated peptide synthesis a plus.
Proven ability to conduct self-directed research and development would be advantageous.

As a Development Scientist on our Analytical Development team, you will assist in the efforts of commercial and development stability programs for drug substances and drug products. Requirements include: BS in Chemistry or closely related degree, 5+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, analytical chemistry and chromatography expertise, working knowledge of GLP/GMP regulations, excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team setting.
