  • Please join us to hear Laura Slattery present the Gubbio Project. The Gubbio Project, in collaboration with St. Bonfiace Church and St. John's the Evangelist Church in San Francisco, allows homeless women and men sleep in the pews in the mornings as an alternative to the streets. Laura has been the Executive Director of the Gubbio Project since 2010. Laura has experience as a chaplain, teacher, Catholic Worker, nonviolence trainer, and military officer. She received her MA in theology from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and her BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
