Wendy Wright, Ph.D., is a theology professor and the John C. Kenefick Faculty Chair in the Humanities at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Her expertise includes the history of spirituality and the spiritual traditions of Francis de Sales and Jane de Chantal. She has written extensively on family and lay spirituality for both academic and public audiences.

Reconciliation: A Lenten Habit of Heart

This session will consider several aspects of reconciliation, a Lenten habit of heart: reconciliation with nature, with ourselves, with one another, with God in Christ. Reinterpreting traditional Lenten practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, it will combine input, prayer, time for reflection, and faith-sharing.

Life Directions Retreat for Young Adults

Co-sponsored with the Religious of the Sacred Heart

This day-long retreat is for women and men in their 20s and 30s who are facing major choices in their lives and who want help with discerning the next steps. The day will include input, sharing, quiet prayer, reflection, and food!
