The Wall Street Journal -- "New plays did far better, including the U.S. premiere of Alan Ayckbourn's "Life of Riley" at San Diego's Old Globe and three Off-Broadway premieres, David Ives's "The School for Lies" at Classic Stage Company, Lynn Nottage's "By the Way, Meet Vera Stark" at Second Stage Theatre and Zoe Kazan's "We Live Here" at the Manhattan Theatre Club.
