On October 30, 2009, Sociology professor Thomas E. Reifer, PhD, participated as a panelist and presenter at Chapman University School of Law’s Nexus Symposium. At the symposium, “The 80th Anniversary of the Great Crash of 1929: Law, Markets, & the Role of the State:  A Legal Symposium.” Reifer spoke on “Lawyers, Money and Power:  Wall Street Lawyers, Investment Bankers and Global Financial Crises, late 19th to 21st Century” as part of the session, Practical and Theoretical Implications of Public Sector Financial Reform.
