| Message | Position Information Title: U.S. Attorney's Office Undergraduate Internship Description: Provide a variety of assistance in the nature of both legal work and office support. Assignments may include: assembling exhibits; Bates-labeling documents; copying and processing legal documents from file materials; organizing case files and records; assisting with discovery projects; and gathering, preparing and organizing information for electronic discovery production. Interns to the Criminal Division – Will organize and facilitate discovery and provide support to investigations and litigation in a variety of criminal matters. Other responsibilities may include assisting with case file organization and preparation of graphic, audio and visual exhibits for trials. Interns to the Civil Division – Will aid in trial preparation by assisting with the processing of discovery materials. Interns will organize data, prepare discovery binders, and assist with miscellaneous administrative and litigation support tasks. Interns to the Administrative Section – Will assist the Administrative Section by performing general clerical duties such as entering and retrieving computer data, processing mail, preparing documents or letters, and processing forms for approval. Qualifications Students selected for the Fall or Spring semesters must plan to work a minimum of 16-20 hours per week. Students selected for the summer must plan to work 30-40 hours per week. Work hours must be scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
