Description: If you are interested in public service and federal government, we encourage you to apply for an internship with Senator Dianne Feinstein’s San Diego district office. Internships are available now for the Fall Session.
Intern duties may include:
Scheduling is flexible, however a 16-week commitment is required, working a minimum of 12-15 hours a week.
This is a great opportunity to become involved in the American political system and gain firsthand experience with the daily activities of the United States Senate. Class credit is available, but enrollment in a formal internship program is not a requisite. You must inquire about the specifics of class credit with your department.
Qualifications For many citizens, contact with Senator Feinstein's office is their only experience with an elected representative. Therefore, we need polite and friendly students with some familiarity with the American political system and current events. Additionally, strong writing and communication skills are a plus.
