At UT, Disgraced Lobbyist Abramoff Lectures on Ethics

Statesman -- When an ethical case study concerns one of the most notorious lobbyists in U.S history, one might expect to hear about Jack Abramoff, not from him.

Yet there he was, the man dubbed "Casino Jack," speaking Wednesday night with University of Texas students and others about his past, his time in prison and his efforts at both personal reform and the reform of lobbying rules in Washington. (Full Story)

Rather than ask if Abramoff realizes he did wrong, the better question is whether he knows he hurt people in doing it, said Lawrence Hinman, a philosophy professor at the University of San Diego.
