| Message | Inside USD — One hallmark of a University of San Diego undergraduate education is the opportunity for students to do tangible research work, learn the inner workings of a laboratory, gain expert mentorship from a faculty member and, in the words of one USD chemistry professor, a chance to "move the science along." For undergraduate students in biology, chemistry/biochemistry, physics/biophysics, marine science and environmental studies and doubly interested in joining a science faculty member's laboratory for a research project, attending Wednesday night's free Spring Sci-Mix, from 6-7:30 in the Shiley Center for Science and Technology's Atrium, is a must.
