Issa Attended Event Hosted By Solyndra Lobbyist

The San Diego Union-Tribune -- Congressman Darrell Issa may be investigating Solyndra LLC and its federal green-energy aid, but he cooperated with the company’s lead lobbyist Wednesday on one thing — supporting Mitt Romney for president.

Issa’s name was listed as a draw on invitations to a breakfast fundraiser for Romney’s campaign. The event was hosted by a group of lobbyists, including a leading political representative for Solyndra.

Gary Gray, a University of San Diego political science professor said Issa’s attendance at the event is part of the Washington culture. (Full Story)
