Port of San Diego CEO Resigns

The Log.com -- The Port of San Diego has announced the appointment of Wayne Darbeau, vice president of administration, to serve as the port’s president and chief executive officer, following the sudden resignation of CEO Charles D. Wurster.

Darbeau, a top port executive, will hold the position while the port conducts a nationwide search for a new CEO. Wurster, a retired Coast Guard vice admiral, resigned Sept. 24. He had led the port since January 2009, when Bruce Hollingston retired. (Full Story)
