MSNBC’s “The Last Word” Coming Live from USD

You may notice more trucks than usual lining the campus streets later this week. You might even notice one of them has a huge satellite dish on top. Don’t worry, it’s not a reality show coming the University of San Diego to chronicle our daily movements, but rather an MSNBC production crew doing set-up work. The university’s Shiley Theatre will be the host site of a live taping of the cable network’s show, “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell,” from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.

O’Donnell’s show is a relative newcomer to the late night political talk show scene, but it is already popular with MSNBC’s left-leaning viewers. A veteran politico, writer and commentator, O’Donnell also spent time in Hollywood with appearances on a show he helped write, “The West Wing.”(Full Story Inside USD)
