The department of Political Science and International Relations welcomes three new adjunct faculty this semester. These faculty join the department with a wide breadth of experience and knowledge.
- Melissa Wagoner will be teaching a course cross-listed with Communication Studies titled “Politics and Press Inside the Beltway.” Wagoner comes to USD after working as Senator Ted Kennedy’s Press Secretary from 2004 to 2009.
- Aboubakr Jamai is teaching “Politics of Developing Countries.” Jamai is the former editor of the Moroccan newspaper Le Journal Hebdomadaire. Jamai worked in this position until he was exiled by the Moroccan king for practicing freedom of speech.
- Rodrigo Villamizar-Alvargonzalez is teaching “Politics of Developing Countries.” Villamizar-Alvargonzalez is the former Secretary of Energy for Columbia.
