My favorite thing to do in the summer is to go to the fairgrounds and enjoy the San Diego County Fair (formerly the Del Mar Fair). I can get in touch with my rustic side by petting the goats, cows and watch the pig races. I also learned about the many species of goats, short ears, no ears, long ears. The fair also gives me a prime opportunity to eat something fried without any guilt because the fair extends itself to many types of interesting delicious caloric, heart clogging food, but it is only once a year.
