One of the most beloved of modern comedies, “The Importance of Being Earnest” sparkles with Oscar Wilde’s famous wit and brilliant language. From the delightfully duplicitous Jack Worthing to the formidable Lady Bracknell, this iconic cast of characters comes to the hilarious realization that it really is important to be earnestly Ernest. Director Kirk Jackson (“Uncle Vanya”, “An Absolute Turkey”) returns as guest director. MFA Associate Professor Ray Chambers plays Lady Bracknell and Emmelyn Thayer (MFA ’03) join the graduate theatre students.

$10 general admission; $8 students, seniors and active military. Tickets may be purchased at the Hahn University Center Box Office. Patrons may also visit for instructions on purchasing tickets. Please note: no late seating for this production.
