The undergraduate Theatre Arts department performs Eric Ehn’s The Saint Plays , a collection of short plays, contemporary fairy tales for the stage, loosely based on the lives of saints and biblical characters, including one especially written by Ehn in honor of Sister Sally Furay RSCJ, vice president and provost of the University of San Diego (1972-1996). An avid theatre goer, Furay was the force behind the Alcala Park Players, the club that initiated a theatre presence at USD. Directed by Robert Barry Fleming, MFA, chair and associate professor of Theatre Arts. Performance Schedule: Tickets: Seating is limited. $11, general admission; $8, students/seniors. Tickets will go on sale two weeks prior to opening, and are available at the Hahn University Center Box Office (619) 260-2727 from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Unsold tickets also available 45 minutes before curtain at Studio Theatre.
