Committee Letter Workshop for Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Students

This workshop is designed for USD students who plan to apply to medical or dental school next summer (or later if a graduating senior) and would like to request a committee letter of recommendation from the USD Health Sciences Student Evaluation Committee.  Attendance at this workshop is important! 

This workshop will explain what a committee letter is, what the committee considers when writing the letter, the materials you will need to provide the committee by Thanksgiving to request a letter, and the process by which the committee letter is written. Please note that this workshop will NOT be repeated later in the semester.  If you are unable to attend, contact Valerie Hohman, Ph.D., HSSEC chair.
