Math Learning Center (MLC)

The Mathematics Learning Center (MLC) is open and free to USD students on a walk-in basis. The goal of the MLC is to provide peer tutoring that short-term assistance to encourage students to become independent learners. Tutoring focuses on lower division classes, but tutoring for advanced classes may be available.

      Monday      : 12:00pm - 1:30pm
      Tuesday     :   4:00pm - 5:30pm
      Wednesday : 12:00pm - 1:30pm
      Friday        10:30am - 12:00pm

About Our Tutors

Our tutors are selected through an application process and recommendations by faculty members. Although the tutors have been asked to give priority to students in the classes listed below, those tutors with advanced training will help with other mathematics questions whenever they have time available.
