Speaker Bio: Dr. Shum received his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and his Ph.D. in Operations Research from M.I.T., and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His major area of interest is supply chain management.
