| Message | Department of Mathematics Seminar Series presents "Using MATLAB for Resource Allocation and Card Trick Generation" by Douglas Hulbert, Ph.D., SPAWAR Systems Center-Pacific This talk will cover two topics: the explanation of a card trick and the solution of a resource allocation problem. While MATLAB will be used to attack each problem, various mathematical concepts will surface, including Boolean algebra and fixed point mappings. Pizza will be provided.
