"I love how close the MARS grads are with each other and how easy it is to make friends with the MARS faculty and staff. The opportunities available to grads on the USD campus really make you feel like you belong at the school."
- Megan, Class of 2010
Be a part of our community of scholars.
Living and learning are intimately intertwined at USD. Masters of Science students are encouraged to take advantage of the university's vast resources as well as those in the local community. San Diego is alive with cultural events, sports, art and miles of white sand beaches. The business, bio-tech and marine science communities are among the most productive and respected in the country, which provide our M.S. students with the resources they need to succeed inside and outside of the classroom. Our students also have found that USD's close proximity to the Southwest Fisheries Science Center (National Marine Fisheries, NOAA), the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, and the Leon R. Hubbard Hatchery provide exciting opportunities for research.
Intimate class sizes, engaged professors, and the unparalleled opportunities of San Diego make M.S. students not only colleagues, but close friends as well.
