Collaborate LLC

Civic engagement that leads to a participatory democracy.

Who is a collaborator? A collaborator pursues and values partnerships. We get out in the community and learn from one another, activating communication and participation in both our local and global communities. Join us – be a collaborator.

Collaborate students will be housed in Maher Hall. This residence hall is located on main campus, where residents can appreciate a short walk to class. Aromas Café is located on the first floor of the building, giving students easy access to a wide range of snacks, meals, and specialty coffees and teas. Copley Library is also just a stone’s throw away from Maher Hall. Please note that Maher Hall has single/double (limited), triple and quadraple rooms. Each room contains a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, which is shared among the residents of that room (single rooms have a private bathroom, double rooms share the bathroom with those two students, etc.)

Begin quote To collaborate is to pave the way for a brighter future. While teamwork is essential in our global society, collaboration means so much more than working with others. It is the unification of the diverse skills, insights, and experiences of a group of individuals to foster meaningful connections, fruitful discussion, and effective action. As USD students, we live this theme by opening our minds to others’ views and engaging in our Changemaker campus community. Through the culture of diversity, inclusion, and active service celebrated by Collaborate, we develop the skills and insights needed to leave a positive impact on the world post-graduation. – Ava Bellizzi, Facilitating Scholastic Assistant for Collaborate
