Scholarly and Creative Work

Professor Velázquez has participated in the AP Reading program for the College Board since 2006. She was nominated as a Woman of Impact in 2007 for exhibiting leadership, positive influence and impact throughout the USD community.

Teaching Interests

Professor Velázquez integrates a cooperative learning environment and a constructive approach for teaching language development. Enhance classroom with a bicultural knowledge and native fluency in Spanish. Motivate students to learn and to excel in listening, reading, writing and speaking.
