Martha T Oregel has been a member of the faculty since 1999. She teaches lower division Spanish courses, including a specialized “bridge” course which begins with a review of first semester Spanish and then moves on to complete the second semester.

In all of her courses, Professor Oregel focuses on making her lectures interesting, meaningful, rewarding and creative to reach the needs of students with different learning styles when being exposed to a foreign language. Also, she is able to integrate interactive and communicative activities than involve the use of technology in the classroom. She continuously attends seminars and conferences to be updated on Foreign Language Acquisition and Teaching Methodologies.
