Adjunct positions are seldom advertised because we maintain a file of unsolicited applications, though on occasion we send employment notices to local colleges and universities.

Adjunct faculty must hold at least a Master's degree in the language to be taught. They teach first, second, third and fourth semester language courses. When needed, adjuncts who hold a Ph.D. may be assigned an upper-division conversation, writing, literature, or civilization course.

Because we are a university committed to teaching and research, we do not employ Teaching Assistants.
