Robert Segal will assess the distinctive contribution made by Carl Jung to the psychology and philosophy of religion. He will also outline the value-based nature of Jung's approach by discussing his suggestion that the shadow archetype should be integrated into the personality, and by addressing the prescriptive interpretation of Jung's thought offered by Erich Neumann in his book Depth Psychology and a New Ethic. |
