Following introductions by Thomas Cesarini (USD) and Kimber Quinney (California State University, San Marcos), Jim Bregante will take us on a reflective journey through his youth spent in San Diego’s Little Italy and on its waterfront. The presentation will include family images, personal historical narrative, and archival photographs of the Italian neighborhood and waterfront region.

This event is sponsored by the Department of Languages and Literatures. Refreshments are provided though a grant from the USD Enhanced Student-Faculty Interaction Fund. No reservation is needed. Presentation is in English. Special thanks to the Italian Historical Society for the use of the photo.
