Legend of minimalist music and innovator in mathematically-based music, composer Tom Johnson gives a public presentation about his compositions, featuring live performance demonstrations. Based in Paris, Johnson's residency at the University of San Diego is a rare opportunity for the community to experience one of America's great musical innovators in person. This residency is presented in association with a 12:15 p.m. recital by pianist and USD faculty Christopher Adler.
