| Message | ![]() Cabaret by Joe Masteroff, Fred Ebb and John Kander, directed by Carrie Klewin, Theatre Arts faculty. Through the lens of the Kit-Kat Club, we see Berlin in 1930, racked with political unrest, a tumbling economy and increasing signs of the Nazi party. With this dramatic backdrop, the Master of Ceremonies guides you through the life of a young cabaret dancer as she meets a rich German politician, a young Jewish man coming to terms with his identity, and an innocent English teacher all caught up in the exciting and unfolding drama of 1930s Berlin. Performances: Tickets: $11, general admission; $8, students, seniors. Available at the Hahn University Center Box Office (619) 260-2727 two weeks prior to opening. Tickets also available one hour before curtain at Shiley Theatre. For information, call Theatre Arts at (619) 260-4171 or the Hahn University Center box office at (619) 260-2727. |
