The Third Annual Summer Chamber Music Festival is a week-long chamber music making and performing experience. All participants are coached by members of the San Diego Symphony and faculty members of the University of San Diego Music Program. Participants can apply as individuals or as part of a pre-formed ensemble, with special discount given to individual students and pre-formed student ensembles. Evenings-only participants are welcome.

Each day, the festival offers coaching sessions, free jamming/sight-reading sessions and time for individual practice. A public performance is given each afternoon, in addition to faculty concerts and a final concert at the end of the festival.

Concert Schedule:

Sunday, July 6. Faculty Concert. 7 p.m., Shiley Theatre, Camino Hall, $10, general admission; $8, students and seniors, at the door only.

Monday, July 7. Faculty Concert. Noon-12:45 p.m., Hahn University Center foyer.

Tuesday, July 8. Participant Concert. Noon-12:45 p.m., Hahn University Center foyer.

Wednesday, July 9. Participant Concert. Noon-12:45 p.m., Hahn University Center foyer.

Thursday, July 10. Participant Concert. Noon-12:45 p.m., Hahn University Center foyer.

Saturday, July 12. Participant Concert. 2 p.m., Shiley Theatre, Camino Hall, $10, general admission; $8, students and seniors, at the door only.
