Honors Faculty Resources
Amount: Round-trip transportation to the host country, funding to cover room, board, and incidental costs, based on the cost of living in the host country and accident & sickness health benefits.

The U.S. Student Program is designed to give recent B.S./B.A. graduates, master's and doctoral candidates, and young professionals and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide.
Application Requirements: Must hold a B.A. degree or the equivalent before the beginning date of the grant. Must have sufficient proficiency in the written and spoken language of the host country to communicate with the people and to carry out proposed study. Extent to which the candidate and the project will help to advance the program aim of promoting mutual understanding among nations. Ability of the supervising agencies abroad to arrange supervision. Requirements of programs in individual countries. In many countries, only advanced degree candidates may apply, and in some countries, certain fields of study are closed. Check with IIE before filing an application if you do not meet country specifications.

Procedure: USD Fulbright Scholarship Procedures
Amount: Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually.

The purpose of the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation is to alleviate a critical current and future shortage of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers. A more realistic statement of the purpose, in today's terms, is to provide a continuing source of highly qualified individuals to those fields of academic study and research. Application Requirements: The awards will be made to those who will be college juniors and those who will be college seniors, who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering.
Amount: Financial and logistical support for graduate study at Oxford University.

The Rhodes Scholarships were established after the death of Cecil Rhodes, who wished to improve the world through the diffusion of contemplative, dutiful, and energetic leaders. His hope was to bring able students from the English-speaking world and beyond to study at Oxford University. Application Requirements: literary and scholastic attainments; energy to use one's talents to the full, as exemplified by fondness for and success in sports; truth, courage, devotion to duty, sympathy for and protection of the weak, kindliness, unselfishness and fellowship; moral force of character and instincts to lead, and to take an interest in one's fellow beings.

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a merit-based grant awarded to undergraduate students, who wish financial support to attend graduate or professional school in preparation for careers in government, the non-profit sector or elsewhere in public service.
Application Requirements: Candidates must: attend an accredited U.S. college or university and be nominated by the institution's Truman Faculty, must be nominated by the Campus Representative, be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals, complete an application and write a policy recommendation, be in the upper quarter of their junior class

The Morris K. Udall scholarships are awarded to honor the career of Congressman Morris Udall who made major contributions to the preservation and protection of the environment and for the rights of Native Americans and Alaskan Natives.
Application Requirements: Outstanding students who are either: college sophomores or juniors in the current academic year, have outstanding potential, and who study the environment and related fields; or Native American and Alaska Native students who are college sophomores or juniors in the current academic year, have outstanding potential, and are in fields related to health care or tribal public policy.
