An Evening Etiquette Series with University of San Diego alumnus Joshua Hamilton

Join us for this fun and enriching experience. In two evenings we will cover a multitude of topics concerning social grace useful in situations from the casual everyday interaction to business and formal events. Come to brush up on your social skills, to have those difficult etiquette questions finally answered, and to learn new techniques to add to your repertoire. This is a wonderful and affordable opportunity for our Honors students.

Tuesday, February 23, 7-8:30 p.m., Degheri Alumni Center, room 120. Part One: Discussion of important social skills including personal presentation, business etiquette and social networking. Please dress business casual.

Tuesday, March 2, 7-8:30 p.m., La Gran Terraza, University Center. Part Two: A formal dining experience discussing the art of dining and conversation. Please dress semiformal.

Cost is $25 per person for both parts of the series. Electronic payment of campus cash or dining dollars required. Charged on March 2.

RSVP by Monday, February 22 at noon to honors@sandiego.edu. Include student ID#, preference of campus cash or dining dollars, and meal choices from the following menu.

Choose one option from each of the following:

  • Starters: Caesar Salad or Seasonal Soup Selection
  • Entrees: Grilled Hanger Steak, Halibut with Chorizo Crust or Rosemary Chicken
  • Dessert: Hazelnut, Milk Chocolate and Salted Carmel Cake with Frangelico Anglaise or Mango and Coconut Sorbet Vacherin, Tropical Fruit Scoop
