Patricia Dixon Honored at USD to Kick Off California Indian Day

Message

Distinguished USD alumna Patricia Dixon (Luiseno), was honored at USD to kick of San Diego’s California Indian Day festivities. At an event organized by the All Nations Institute for Community Achievement (ANICA), Professor Dixon (who teaches at Palomar College) was recognized for her outstanding service to Indian education and ethnic studies. The event was led by ethnic studies professor and ANICA coordinator, Dr. May Fu, and USD’s tribal liaison, Perse Hooper.
