Professor Mills Performs at Purdue

Jesse Mills, Ph.D., Ethnic Studies, was invited as a special guest performer at Purdue University’s College of Liberal Arts, Division of Dance, “Beaker” faculty showcase on February 26, 2010. On guitar, Mills joined a quartet (2 postmodern dancers, a vibraphonist/percussionists, and guitar) for a new music improvisational performance titled “Deluge.” This piece explores the settling of emotions and the fluidity of love, from chaos to calm, from the storm to the serene.
