"Ethnic Studies and the Gospel of Efficacy" by May Chuan Fu, Ph.D.
Fu is an assistant professor with the Center for Applied Studies in American Ethnicity and the department of History at Colorado State University. She holds degrees in History, English and Ethnic Studies from UCLA, UCSD, and University of Minnesota. Her teaching and research interests include the comparative histories of racialized groups, social movements, gender and labor, and the politics of historiography. Her current research examines Asian American community organizing during the 1970s and explores the panethnic, interracial, and international affiliations that shaped Asian American radicalism.
