Julieta Barrios '12 Accepted to Summer Medical and Dental Education Program

Sophomore Julieta Barrios has been accepted to the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP). A highly competitive program, the SMDEP seeks to increase the number of highly qualified medical school applicants from underrepresented economic, cultural, racial, and ethnic minority groups. Barrios will begin the 6-week program in Omaha, NE in early July.
