Two Department of English Students Present at AAAS

Message

Two Department of English students presented papers at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Pacific Division held in San Diego June 12-18.

 

  • Faye Mankowske, English major, presented "Tracing the Birth of New Science in the Literature of the 17th and 18th Centuries."
  • Bernadette E. Smith, Interdisciplinary Humanities major, presented "Darwinian Evolution and Jack London: Dualistic Representations of Evolution and Social Darwinism in the Character of Buck."
