Communication Studies Student Learning Outcomes:

Students should be able to:
1. describe, explain, and when applicable, apply, the concepts, models, methods and theories that span the breadth of the discipline.

2. critically analyze and interpret messaging in all its manifestations.
3. construct and deliver effective oral, print, and electronic messages that exhibit clarity, organization, and stylistic mastery.

4. construct ethical judgments about communicating responsibly across social contexts.
5. develop cultural awareness, curiosity, and empathy while comparing and valuing culturally different others.
