Jonathan Bowman, Ph.D., Communication Studies, has published an article “The Influences of Attribution, Context, and Heterosexual Self-Presentation on Perceived Appropriateness of Self-Disclosure in Same-Sex Male Friendships” in the journal Communication Research Reports.

Bowman presented the paper entitled “Joking and Teasing as Relational Communication: Men's Use of Humor in Relationship Formation” at the International Society for Humor Studies conference.
