Congratulations to Pete Iovine who was just awarded a Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar grant. The Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar grants are awarded to faculty members who have demonstrated great leadership and excellence in research and a dedication to education.

With the 5 years of funding awarded, he proposes to synthesize and study novel starch and amylose-based polymeric materials. Funding will support 8 undergraduate students during this time period.
