Michelle Grau Awarded ACS SURF Fellowship

Message

The Executive Committee of the Division of Organic Chemistry has selected USD junior Michelle Grau  to receive the ACS Division of Organic Chemistry Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship.

This fellowship, in the amount of $5,000, is for research to be carried out in the summer of 2009. In addition, the program will provide financial support to enable her to visit an industrial campus in the fall for a dinner, award session, scientific talks, a tour of the campus and a poster session, where the results of the summer research investigations will be presented.  This year’s site will be the Pfizer Global Research and Development site in Groton, CT.  

The USD Chemistry and Biochemistry Department congratulates Michelle on this prestigious award.
