MacKrell Awarded Undergraduate Research Fellowhsip

Message

Allison MacKrell (2010) has been awarded an Undergraduate Research Fellowship from the American Society of Microbiology.  The award supports her genetic study of cyst formation in the purple, photosynthetic bacterium, Rhodospirillum centenum.  MacKrell will present the results of her research at the General Meeting of ASM to be held in San Diego in May 2010.
