Ramona lilac (Ceanothus tomentosus)

 

Ramona lilac is an evergreen shrub that can reach 6-9 feet in height. The leaves of this shrub are a silvery-green. Blue flowers emerge when in season. This shrub is native to California but can now be found throughout western North America.

The Kumeyaay boil the leaves and berries of the ramona lilac to relieve skin conditions.
