PVC, rope, vinyl, electric fan
This modular and transformable design for an art gallery can be assembled onsite quickly and easily. The structure consists of a grid-tube structure reinforced by robes, and a hand-made inflatable tube. During the installation the designer “weaves” the inflatable tube through the grid structure. Both the structure and the enclosure can be adjusted to modify the space, and to fit the art that is being exhibited. From May 11 to May 15, 2009 Wilday made 5 different installations of his structure at the Copley Lawn, the University of San Diego.

analytic model of Maison Ozenfant by Le Corbusier
white cardboard, tinted spaghetti, glue
Built in Paris in 1924, Maison Ozenfant was one of the first residential projects to adopt elements borrowed from industrial architecture and to forego all decoration entirely. In their architectural drawings and model, students analyzed this artist studio and home's severe black and white expression and geometry.
