Athletics
Since 1999, the Toreros have made 39 NCAA post-season appearances; garnered 54 All-America selections; won 12 conference championships; and had 14 Conference Coaches of the Year, 144 WCC 1st team members, 2 WCC Scholar Athletes of the Year and 3 national champions. Degheri Alumni Center
The Degheri Alumni Center, the former site of the School of Education, Harmon Hall, opened in February 2004. The building was made possible with a generous gift from alumnus Bert Degheri '61. In support of the mission and values of USD, the alumni center offers the use of its facilities to USD alumni, students, and faculty in order to foster and the enrich the connections that define the USD community.
The three-story, 28,000 square-foot building is located near the main USD campus entrance, and was conceived, in the donor's words, as a "gathering place for the alumni family."
