Are you trying to decide whether law school is the right choice for you? Do you have questions about how to prepare for law school? Are you in the process of applying to law school and confused about what to do next?
Our undergraduates move on to some of the best law schools in the country, including Harvard, Stanford, Cal, UCLA, USC, Chicago, Notre Dame, Cornell, Columbia, Virginia and of course, the USD School of Law, as well as other regional and local law schools from coast to coast.
Here are four options for you to consider when considering law:
Read our Pre-Law Brochure (pdf) to get the answers to the most commonly asked questions about preparing for and applying to law school.
Consider joining Phi Alpha Delta, USD's undergraduate pre-law organization. All students are invited to join during the student rush period, which takes place at the beginning of each semester.
Participate in our workshop and lecture series, which will cover a variety of subjects, including: debunking the myths about law school, how to prepare for law school, how to choose a law school, how to pay for law school and career options after law school.
It is never too early to start thinking about what you want to do after you graduate from USD. Law school is one possible option for you to consider. Whether you are a first-year student, an older alumnus/ae considering a career change or anywhere in between, all are welcome here.
